Welcome to Nidaros Pilegrimsgård. We are located on historic grounds, in idyllic surroundings between Nidelven River, the Nidarosdomen Cathedral and by the Gamle Bybro Bridge.

The city's facilities are a short walk away. We offer accommodation in a pleasant and quiet atmosphere, at a reasonable price. See our rooms and facillities here. You don't have to be a pilgrim to stay with us, here everyone is warmly welcomed.

Welcome to our Barception where we have a small Menu with snacks and drinks. Rest in our cosy living room and enjoy our outdoor area overlooking the Nidelven River and Bakklandet. Parking is also available.

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs NOK 150 per day.

Canceling a reservation 48 hours before arrival is free of charge. If canceled after this hour, the guest will be charged 50% of the room's rate

Rules for pets at Nidaros Pilgrimsgård

Pilgrimsgården welcomes dog owners both at Streif bakery & Café and as overnight guests.

  • The dog is the owner's responsibility and must be on a leash at all times.
  • Inside the fireplace room, only one dog is allowed at a time.
  • The dog must not lie on the furniture, but on the floor and not roam freely.
  • The owner is obliged to clean up after the dog.
  • Outdoors, it is arranged for dogs with a hook in the wall for attachment, and with a water bowl.
  • The owner is obliged to look after the dog so that it is not a nuisance to other guests.

We encourage good behavior and that everyone takes care of each other.

Nidaros Pilegrimsgård reserves the right to turn away guests who do not conform to the rules.

You can bring your dog with you and stay at the hotel. There will be an additional kost of: NOK. 500 per day, due to special cleaning. The dog must never be alone in the room.
